Every year the Federation under the perceptions of its president selects a theme to highlight the importance of a particular concept in our specialty. In 2007 the concept of one theme is up-scaled to a philosophy which allows more than one area to be brought under focus involving all sections of its members in its activities. Members from all over the country are made aware of this concept- and seminars, workshops and CME programmes are being held on various aspects of the philosophy.

The Federation is always conscious of the fact that it has a very important role to play in improving the health of women in our country and in turn improving the future of India.
