The action plan :

For the patients:

FOGSI will adopt the Patients Rights’ Charter. This will be displayed in each FOGSI member hospital. Hard copy of the same will reach every one. Can be downloaded from the FOGSI website.

Village adoption scheme of FOGSI now will be modified to apply to the needy parts of the county to help offer care where it is most needed.

Important interventions like use of Intravenous iron ,Magnesium sulphate prefilled syringe, availability of Folic acid supplementation at PHCs, Non-pnuematic  anti-shock garments being made available , availability of Misoprostol tablets, availability of cryo cautery and VIA at PHCs,insisting on obstetric facilities at the PHCs, demanding proper placements of the EmOC trained MOs ,acquiring accreditation for obstetric care for FOGSI hospitals and the 108 ambulance services to be sought with continuous dialogue with the policy makers through FOGSI.

For the members :

More members to be encouraged to join FOGSI . Reach out with all the knowledge of FOGSI schemes and FOGSI programs to all through the respective guardian chairpersons and Vice presidents .
