AICOG 2009

2nd ALL INDIA OBSTETRIC AND GYNAECOLOGICAL CONGRESS

The 52nd All India Obstetric & Gynaecological Congress will be held at Jaipur (Rajasthan) on 4th to 8th January 2009.

Official Subjects of the Congress:

  • Nutrition in Pregnancy
  • Pelvic reconstructive
  • Surgery, Modern Technology in Women’s Health,
  • Miscellaneous.

Prizes and Eligibility:

  1. Dr. Indumati Jhaveri Prizes (for Junior delegates less than 7 years of passing MBBS) for best 3 papers presented on the official subjects of the Congress.
  2. Dr. C. S. Dawn Prizes (Eligibility 7 years after passing MBBS ) for best 3 papers presented on the official subject of the Congress.
  3. Dr. C. L. Jhaveri Prizes for best papers in Miscellaneous group for all registered delegates .
  4. Dr. Amarendra Nath Dan Prize for the best paper on “MCH Care” for all registered delegates.
  5. Mrs. Chandravati Devi Jagannath Singh Prize for the best paper in “Oncology” for all registered delegates.
  6. Dr. Mrs. Jagdishwari Mishra Prize for the posters on the 3 official subjects.
  7. FOGSI Karan Gupta Memorial Prize donated by Dr. Kamal Gupta for the best posters in Miscellaneous topics.
  8. Dr. Siuli Rudra Sinha Prize for best paper on Endoscopy.
  9. FOGSI Golden Jubilee Svizera Award (Senior Category) Best research/ paper on “Menopause”.
  10. FOGSI Golden Jubilee Svizera Award (Junior Category) Best research / paper on “Menopause”.
  11. FOGSI Smt. Bhagawato Devi Yamuna Singh Prize for the Best Paper on “Geriatric Gynaecology” for all registered delegates (Three Prizes)

Registration Guidelines

  • All payments to be made by Demand Draft in favour of "AICOG-2009" payable at Jaipur.
  • Conference registration is mandatory for registration in workshop/CME.
  • For any presentation, registration is mandatory.
  • PG students should enclose a certificate from the Head of Department.
  • All children above 08 years of age have to register as accompanying delegate
  • The original Acknowledgment Letter / Receipt must be presented at registration counter at the Conference venue to receive Registration kit.

Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellation, written request should be sent to Conference mailing address upto 15th, December 2008. No cancellation request would be entertained after 15th, December2008.
  • Refund will be sent by cheque after the conference. An amount equivalent to 30% of the amount paid will be deducted as handling charges.
