Gyan Yatra

Gyan Yatra.
Gyan Yatra, under the programme of Gyan Abhiyan,FOGSI is the brain child of FOGSI President, Dr. Pankaj Desai. This campaign (Abhiyan) of spreading Knowledge (Gyan) will reach all corners of the country during 2007. Sr. Vice President, Dr. Atul Munshi is coordinating the activities of Gyan Abhiyan.

Gyan Yatra is a programme of conducting academic (half day) C.M.E. at various Ob/Gyn. Societies in the country, reaching the Teachers and the P.G. Students, who at distant places cannot attend the CME’s & Conferences due to various reasons! Gyan Yatra is an attempt to reach out to these students (& even few teachers) at their doorsteps. FOGSI is planning to conduct around 25-30 such programmes countrywide.

For the Gyan Yatra CME, the organizing Ob/Gyn Society/Centre organizes a half day C.M.E., inviting 1 outstation faculty & 1 local faculty to talk, discuss and educate on Ob/Gyn. Cases to the participating Teachers & P.G. Students from the local as well as nearby colleges. Eminent faculties from Medical Colleges & other clinicians are visiting various centers all over the country to disseminate latest developments in our field in systematic & organized way.

This programme is supported by Academic Grant from Lifecell to FOGSI. LifeCell is providing Stem Cell Banking Services in India and in several other countries globally. We are thankful to Mr. Niranjan, Vice President, Lifecell & Dr. Phagun Shah, local representative for their constant support to this programme Under this grant, FOGSI provides funds to the Organizing Society for:-
