Greetings from New Delhi,
We have organised Nine highly academic and most practical Live Operative International Workshops so far at New Delhi, INDIA, on PCNL, named PERCON®, every even year, since 2004 onwards. We got very positive and encouraging reviews and feedback from several of our colleagues, who were able to learn these techniques from the very basics in these workshops and have started these operations in their practice with full confidence and are doing extremely well. Encouraged by enthusiasm of participants, we have decided to organize PERCON® every year from 2023 onwards.
Since PCNL has stood the test of time and is a “MUST LEARN” procedure for all the urosurgeons, but is not practiced in many institutions upto its perfection even today, we have been concentrating on teaching practical aspects of this art, every alternate year to young enthusiastic urologists.
Most of the urosurgeons encounter difficulty while making a successful track or get discouraged by excessive bleeding during and after PCNL. Both these problems are thoroughly discussed during the conduct of the PCNL workshop over 2 days and practical demonstrations are aimed to show the way to circumvent these problems.
“PERCON 2023”, our 10thInternational Workshop dedicated to basics and advanced techniques of PCNL, will be held on 30th September &1st October 2023 at NEW DELHI, INDIA. Details available on website www.percon2023.com.
In this workshop, 12 or more CASES OF PCNL will be operated upon at Apollo spectra hospital and Live Demonstrated under the scanner of 3 cameras (surface view, endoview and c-arm view) at Venue with interactive discussions and explanations with the operating surgeon and the team. 8 or more interactive teaching sessions comprising of 32 talks on various aspects of PCNL will also be held with special attention to explain –
– How to plan and make the initial puncture and the track
And
– How to avoid bleeding and other complications during and after PCNL
Now there are various prevalent techniques of PCNL in the world. viz. Standard PCNL, Mini PCNL, Super Mini PCNL and PCNL in Supine position. An attempt will be made to show all these techniques in this workshop. Place and use of Lasers in PCNL will also be demonstrated and discussed.
Simulation lab will provide an opportunity for Hand on training on simulators under supervision and guidance of experts. A large exhibition of International and Indian instrument manufacturers will also be there at the venue.

PERCONS have always been overcrowded, and in case the number of registration reaches higher than what can be accommodated by hotel authorities, we will have no choice but to stop registration after the limit has reached.
