VOTING INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: View Candidates

  • For FOGSI elections go to https://election.fogsi.org
  • Please click on the “Start Voting” button below
  • After you land on the first page you can view the candidates.
  • To continue and cast your vote click on “Vote now” button at the bottom of the page.
  • You will be directed to verification page to access the E-Ballot

Step 2: Verification of your details

  • Once you are on the verification page, you can verify your membership via an OTP sent to your registered mobile number OR email address.
  • You would be required to enter either one of the following three credentials.
  • Email ID (Registered) / Mobile No. (Registered) / Membership ID (If you are unable to proceed i.e. if none of your details are available with us – Please see Step 2 (a))
  • You can choose to receive your One Time Password (OTP) on either your registered Mobile or Email.
  • Enter OTP you receive on your mobile / email to access the E-Ballot
  • This OTP is valid for a period of 15 minutes.

Following are some of the reasons why you may be unable to see your details in database
– You are not a Category A member
– FOGSI office has not received your subscription fees before 31st March 2019.
– Kindly check with the Society that you are a member of, to confirm the same.
– There is a discrepancy in your name e.g. change of name post marriage
– Email / Mobile has changed and not updated with the society

In case you are unable to find your details or if the details you see are not correct then you can update your details during “Member Detail Updation” period of the respective election.

You can proceed to cast your vote in the subsequent phases of the respective election. To know how to update your details, please read instructions mentioned in the “Member Detail Updation” section.

Step 3: Submit your vote

  • Once you are on the page with the e-Ballot, after you have verified your membership (via OTP) you can select candidate you wish to cast your vote for against each position.
  • Please note that you will be required to cast votes for all categories.
  • After you have made your selection, you will be required to ‘confirm your choice’ again.
  • Your vote will be submitted only after you ‘Confirm’ your selection.

MEMBERS DETAILS UPDATION

Following are some of the reasons why you are unable to see your details in database

– You are not registered as a Category A member
– FOGSI office has not received your subscription fees before 31st March 2019
– There is a discrepancy in your name post marriage
– Email / Mobile has changed and not updated with the society

  • In case you want to update your email / mobile in our database, you can do so during the Member updation of respective Election, if you are an eligible member.
  • Once your details are received and accepted, you can participate in Phase II Election of respective election
  • Please note that database updation is only allowed for member who have not cast their vote in Phase I.
  • You can identify yourself, with your First name, Last Name, Mobile, Email

If either your email or mobile is correct

  • After identifying yourself, you can generate OTP via registered mobile or email.
  • Once verified you can enter your new email ID and mobile number.
  • Along with your updated details, you are required to submit a self-attested Photo ID proof.
  • Your Photo ID can include one of the following (Adhar Card, Passport, Driving license, PAN Card)
  • Please ensure your Photograph and signature in the ID are clearly visible.
  • Only Photo IDs self attested (with signatures) will be accepted.

If both, your email and mobile are incorrect

  • If both your email and mobile are incorrect or missing, then you can submit online change request form to update the same.
  • Along with your updated details, you are required to submit a self-attested Photo ID proof.
  • Your Photo ID can include one of the following (Adhar Card, Passport, Driving license, PAN Card)
  • Please ensure your Photograph and signature in the ID are clearly visible.
  • Only Photo IDs self-attested (with signatures) will be accepted.

If you cannot find yourself in the database
